Varel’s soft formation steel tooth bits have long aggressive forged teeth with maximum offset to give high penetration rates.
 
Medium series bits have “A” or “T” teeth for wear resistance. Hard formation bits have “L” or “T” shaped heel row teeth for hard formations, double “T” heel row teeth for hard and abrasive formations.
